Well now the kids are back at school I better look for a job?? I've been sitting in front of the computer doing my CV this morning and it's very boring.I find myself staring out of the window watching the rain instead!! Hope there's not too much work left for you in the office, and you are looking forward to escaping next Friday. hope to see you then. Sx

Ha! Amateur. I'm getting distracted by the Olympics Actually - I've just finished cleaning all the kitchen cupboards and am waiting for the floor to dry so that I can make my lunch. Now where is that CV template? I've put it somewhere.........

Yes, I've been watching the Olympics as well. Nice picture of Your bikes by the way. Hope you had a good time and the weather wasn't too bad. Did you find somewhere nice to stay? I remember you mentioning 'no way' were you going to sleep in a tent during your trip. I don't suppose many campsites would have wifi anyway;D

Got a full licence? - otherwise it'll be a wee 125.... ;D Otherwise - yes, a splendid idea - although I've got my eye on one of these for Spring.....

No licence yet, but hoping to do Direct Access as I dont see me on a 125 can you? Only question I have is Proscot offer fully guaranteed course for about £750, they provide bikes and this covers course of 20 hours. I dont really want to buy a bike just to pass test then buy bigger, but what would you recommend? Do i need a set of tattoos?

I probably know less about how the test works and what bikes are suitable than yourself... but my advice is to phone Two Wheels - as they run courses, sell / hire bikes etc, and in my experience are good to deal with. Oh and they seem to only charge £530 (or £630) for the licence course. www.twowheels.co.uk/training/index.php

How about a dedicated section on bikes? I love lookin, listenin & learnin about them but dont think i'll ever ride solo. Would obviously love a custom chopper (made for a child what with my stupid short legs) but also partial to the Harley fat boy - just for runnin round town! Nick - you go for it, and why not experience the pleasure/pain of tattooing. You only live once! Get your motor runnin, head out on the highway and drop into Venus Flytrap on Candlemaker Row for the best ink in Edinburgh.
