well how is everyone this morning?? I'm sure some of us are nursing hangovers after last night's farewell do. I departed a 9pm, how did it go after that? P.S. I've checked my bank balance and there has been no large green drinking voucher added to my account yet!!  |

Good morning  I hope you're enjoying your first day of freedom. I can still remember how it felt in March. My large green drinking voucher went into the bank on the Monday, which was St Patrick's Day. I was in Perth celebrating at my favourite hotel, the Quality (which knowing me you will not be surprised to hear is the station hotel). I went to Patersons Jewellers and bought the deepest blue topaz earrings I'd ever seen; they are such an intense oceanic blue they have a hint of dark turquoise about them. Then I went to Thorntons and bought a big box of chocolates for the hotel staff, who know me well now. Then I text my friend Bridget, who is of Irish descent, to wish her a happy St Patrick's Day and as she was replying a black cat wandered into her house. I hope everyone has good memories of their own departure. I didn't stay long at the night out so I don't know of any gossip but I shall look forward to following this thread!  |
