Did anyone see this programme at 9pm on BBC1 on Tuesday, June 3? A member of the public had reported that a dog had been left in a car on a hot day with no water and was becoming distressed so the cops had to try to get it out without damaging the car if at all possible. They updated the story later in the programme and someone had provided a coat hanger which they used to break into the car. On prime time national TV a police officer held up the twisted coat hanger and showed how it had been used to get into the locked car!!! I'm glad to say that the dog suffered no ill effects.

Thats actually hilarious! ;D - I've seen stuff like that before on the telly too - and as I'm keeping my options open when I finish work - I'll be keeping an eye out for that episode! P.S. Hope it wasn't Noodle's coat hanger
