I have a dear friend still in the office who will disown me for posting on this subject but each to their own...

Has anyone heard anything about when it's starting? Usually there have been adverts, previews, articles etc by this time but I haven't seen anything at all.

I hope they go back to giving them discussion topics like they did in the first series. They ended up having some interesting and quite poignant conversations. They have tried to be sensational year after year and it's backfired on them so many times. They also need to get a bit more lighthearted humour back into it. It is after all supposed to be a game.

Anyone notice how as the numbers in the house have increased in the early stages of the most recent series, the commentators gave up on saying who was where and it was "Some of the housemates are in the lounge / garden / kitchen"? A bit obvious really; who else would be in there?

Well its into day4 and the jury is still out.Loving the Thai girl,frightened of the albino [ Da Vinca Code to blame ] and dislike the blind guy. Actually we might get a benefit saving out of it. He can do all his personal care and has a tongue in his head to ask directions outside. Check the computer now.

Plus I think the BB picking team went to an Asylum Seekers instituition cos there are 3 or 4 of them in there.And no im not being rascist saying that

Kathreya (Thai girl) is my favourite too!

I'm hoping that most of the rest cannot possibly be as obnoxious in real life as they appeared on their audition tapes but then that has been the case with most years' intake since it began.

Stephanie's immature reaction to the task is beginning to annoy me immensely but to be absolutely fair to the girl, she's been put in a very awkward situation; if I were she, I'd be terrified to play the part too well in case of invoking Lisa's fury, given her obvious and understandable displeasure and the respective ages of the people involved. As for the "wedding", surely they won't believe that Big Brother would really perform a legally binding ceremony? Even if it doesn't occur to them that a legal marriage could still be annulled as soon as they got out of the house assuming it hadn't been consummated (OK, a big if in that house!) Dennis' gaydar theory with regard to Mario could well come back to bite him once they find out Mario is really with Lisa... an unexpected spanner in the works??

Bring back Aisleyne, Anna and Tracey!

Wish they'd modernise the highlights show so it is up to he last hour of the same day.

Sick of watching stuff that has already been discussed in the new and analysed ad nauseum.

Not that I watch things so much but do pop in from time to time.

Completely agree about the highlights always being the previous day's. It is soooooooooo annoying!

I wonder who will go first. Get evicted, that is; it wouldn't surprise me if Charley (oops, I mean Alexandra : murders someone and / or gets kicked out well before Friday. It looks likely to be Stephanie who is voted out and indeed every single year the first evictee has been a woman but you just never know.

Of course not having seen the news today this post may well be completely out of date even before it hits the board!

Well, now Alexandra has been thrown out, who didn't see that coming? Given that she considered herself to be so smart and was so quick to call other people stupid over and over again, she showed her own lack of common sense by coming out with gangster threats against other housemates and their families knowing that Big Brother would be picking up and recording every word. What an idiot.

How blatantly two-faced is Sylvia?!

Perhaps someone could send a DLA pack to the house for Mario to sit and fill in with Mikey so he can really use the lad's blindness to make himself look good. Maybe he'll do it in the last week; I can just see the DM phoning up the contact number he'd put on it and finding they'd voted for him to win the prize!

I LOVED the phrases they asked poor Kathreya and Mikey to translate into Japanese!

Yip. Sure beats the poop outta Big Brothers own site - not that I was a regular...just checked in every once in awhile coz didn't watch regularly on tv. Maybe Justin Lee Collins could do a Bring Back Edinburgh DBC show? It was good enough for Dallas & Star Wars & now we see just how epic we were as an office - why not? In fact, i'm about to write to Channel 4 now and invite them to produce a truly "endemol" production!
