I won't mention names just in case anyone hasn't heard, since it hasn't been on screen yet but who's looking forward to the imminent return of a certain well known pair of characters? I certainly am, though there returns do tend to be a short term boost as the novelty soon wears off and sometimes it becomes too farcical. Sharon's return was more of a success than Den's; perhaps as well as the implausibility of the latter, this was partly due to the hype beforehand...?
Anyone else think that the current storyline involving Max, Tanya and Sean is far too disturbing for a show watched by children and transmitted well before the watershed? OK, kids are desensitised these days by all the imagery which comes their way but Friday's episode was extreme for a soap. That said, Jo Joyner's acting is top quality.

I thought it was a bit of a hoot but that was probably because I was watching it back to back with episodes from the Masters of Horror series.
Could complain about the biblical overtones as well. Although I don't think Jesus got drugged through the wine. Not according to the Bible anyway.

This is true. I've watched it from the start but am now a part time viewer; it's becoming so depressing and I'm especially glad I missed the Dot / food poisoning episode
