Here's an edited version of Mark's e-mail about his upcoming birthday gig at the Meridian in Leith Walk on Friday 4.4.08
I've got to say it should be a crackin' rock'n'roll night out!
I vaguely remember seeing Shock and Awe quite recently - and I think that they were (probably) great!!! ... But I'll be trying to get there also to see the famous Chinese Jocks, the Johnny Thunders Tribute Band featuring both Mark and DBC's very own "method" actor Shadey doing a fine portayal of drunken musical genius Johnny Thunders!

From Mark - "I refer you to the attached flyer as I once again don my mantle as the hardest working slacker in rock and throw a double shift with both Shock And Awe and The Chinese Jocks (who it would seem have repelled all efforts to change our name although I'm pretty sure we are now called The Chinese Dolls).
The Axidents are also possibly putting in a guest appearance and Kurtz are headlining (purely so I can get rip roaringly drunk much earlier in the evening!)"
So come along and support them! ;D
