Hi,
I was wondering if it might be a good idea to have a board devoted to career related matters such as posting links to useful websites, alerting users to job opportunities, CV and interview tips which people may want to pass on, as well as money related topics such as benefits and tax?
There are already some threads on this sort of topic in the General board but that is going to expand more and more as time goes on and it will become more time consuming picking out relevant threads. In my opinion it could encourage people to use the site more if there were a specifically targeted area for these matters which affect all of us due to the very circumstances which brought the site into being in the first place.
I'll be interested to see what you guys think.

Good idea Cal, I'd quite happily set up seperate section, perhaps called, Job Searching & Tips - what does everyone else think?

Oh dear, now I've started posting I can't stop myself. Those who know me will have guessed it was only a matter of time before I suggested a food/restaurant board. What d'yall think?
Also want to say that a careers board is a great suggestion as long as it doesn't involve too much work/involve any legal issues for the moderator. (Just thinking of that classic old chestnut "The Moral Minority v Anne Summers/JC+).

Bikes, whisk(e)y, sorry for suggesting food & not saying much but currently doing alot of research, and yes - a reunion board. If I knew how to work my scanner I would also suggest a photography thread. Will be on the case!

I like the idea of the photography thread. There are already some cracking photos on the site. Mind you, my PC takes absolutely ages to open any thread with a lot of photos.
