Just had to recommend a couple of new (well, new to me anyway) beverages I have sampled over the past couple of weeks, both from M&S.
I went in to buy a bottle of their orange and brandy liqueur (£10) as I remembered having seen it last year but never got around to buying any. It is to die for. It has a strong orange flavour but the kick of the brandy balances it perfectly and prevents it from being sickly. I also noticed that they do a white mulled wine. (I think that was about £4.) I had never heard of that and had to try it; I couldn't imagine what it would be like before tasting it but it is like warm, spicy alcoholic apple juice. A higher percentage proof than red mulled wine usually is and a very pleasant, warming drink. It didn't even give me heartburn as white wine often does, so anyone who is prone to that can bear it in mind!
