Thanks for your wishes, I read the work you are doing Cal and I think thats great to give a wee bit of your time to help others, wish more people did likewise. I help with Riding for the Disabled and you get some much back for only a small commitment. Keep up the good work.

So you should be, there are lots of jobs going around, as long as you're focussed you'll be alright. I have started some work with CAB too, but only short time and no invite to the christmas party though, drat

Well done Nick - hope it goes well & most of all you enjoy it! Talk about new beginnings; you kinda busy right now? Can't imagine wot your crimbo will be like but with a new baby (beautiful) & new job (brill) i think it will be monumental! Be sure to take the time and cherish every moment - such an achievement! Well done you.

;DWell done Nick, A job in the PF's dept in Glasgow... The most crime ridden city in Europe (Not My Stats. The papers) . Well you will never be out of work. It is like getting a job in an undertakers ! there's aye work to be done. Or flogging burberry caps and large hoop earrings to mongs & mongesses. My daughter works & lives in the City and won't let me say a word abuot the weegies. She says they are the friendliest people in the country, and will give you the shirt off their back (It was probably yours in the first place anyway) Seriously you have done well and it's a great City to work in with Great People..

Thanks Arthur, yes it did give me a laugh and your are probably right about the shirt. When I went to the interview, the parking meter wouldnt take my east coast money, the interviewer ribbed me about that, so its started already.
I am glad you enjoyed the night out and sorry I couldnt make it still adapting to our new wee boy and wholeheartedly agree with your point about realising the skills people have gained within the civil service.
Hope to catch up with you soon and hope you dont delay and get tickets for the Whisky Festival.
