Just a message to the Jambos - thank you for finally taking Jamie Macdonald off the bench - at least his time at Palmerston wasn't in vain! Just please, please, PLEASE don't put him back the nanosecond Balogh's suspension finishes! He deserves better and I'm actually gutted that we didn't make an offer for him - I'm sure the money would have come in very handy at Tynecastle.

To be honest - we do use him quite a bit for a such a young prospect. We have a habit of throwing him into to the deep end too! - not for the first time, I expect to see him in goal at Ibrox this weekend. Although a very promising goalie, his slightly diminutive size does worry me. But then again, we were spoilt by having "the big goalie" for so long. ;D

I think he is average at best, won't let you down when called upon but az Muz says his height could be a problem for him to make the big time.

I just don't like seeing him being sidelined because he's not foreign. OK so he's the man of the moment and you "drop him in at the deep end" but then as soon as Balogh's fit or out of suspension, he gets forgotten about. I don't think his height would play any part if he weren't British! Let's just say it could be conveniently got round - after all, Petr Kouba was a short goalie and he got the Czech Republic into the 1996 Euro finals even after a penalty shoot-out.

Since we are about to lose both our goalkeepers, can I, on behalf of QoS, make a heartfelt plea to Hearts and say please, please,please PLEASE will you sell us Jamie Macdonald back? We need him more (evidently) than you do and just think, one less wage to stump up - and he's really a Doonhamer at heart!
