I thought the DFS ad was funny the first couple of times but I agree it is now beginning to grate My own pet hates amongst the adverts on the go just now: Always pads (sorry guys!), with the mini dodgem cars. Somebody got paid to come up with an image of wee "things" crawling about in one's knickers and their employers / clients agreed this was likely to sell their product. The one where the bloke is changing the baby's nappy and it pees all over the room. Gross. Just gross. Saw it one morning right after the one about head lice. Rank. The Coco pops advert, not the latest one with the giant boulders but the other one which still gets shown, where they spill out of the packet and scuttle across the kitchen to get into the bowl. It's very clever but it reminds me too much of the flesh-eating beetles in The Mummy.

Thanks to the unique was the BBC is funded, I hate the amount of breaks some programmes have, when I was a lad they used only appear every quarter of an hour, but they now seem to be every couple of minutes! There you go thats 50.

Indeed. I remember having to watch an evening's worth of commercials for my Business Studies GCSE and telling the teacher that the project had been interesting but they kept interrupting the adverts to put programmes on At the time, it was a joke. Now it really does feel as though the commercial breaks are taking over and getting longer and longer. The independent supermarket price checker one for Asda is becoming annoying now too. When did the law change because when we were studying advertising in that Business Studies class, it was illegal to specifically name competitors in adverts and slate them but now it happens all the time?

I would interested to know how many of us once we've seen a product advertised we have actually gone out and bought it.
I must confess I probably have on more than one ocassion.
