Althought I am applying for jobs, 1 interview, but no job yet. Would be great to hear if people are realising their dreams. I dont want to know what shady dreams of though  |

Well, I'm still here at the DBC!!! Its looking really empty and its quite depressing!!
I start my new job on 6th october, so I'll get a couple of weekas off and might manage a week in the sun......lush!!
I'll be working on an IT project for Citizens Advice Scotland. Most of my conditions of service are the same as here.....flexi, 30 days holiday, public holidays, non-cont pension etc.....and the best bit is its only 5 minutes walk from the house!!!

Started my new job with the cooncil on Monday. Pretty heavy having to learn new things again. Only had a few days training from a temp in the post at present. Now she has left, I am on my own on Monday. People are very helpfull though. Will take a few weeks to properly settle in and adjust to the new environment, people and work of course. Still on flexi time too, which is handy.

Cheers guys for your congrats. All the best with your job searches or whatever you plan to do.
A wee tip i used for my interviews is to approach it with the mindset that you are sizing the employer up also. It takes a bit of the pressure off you if you are saying to yourself "do i want to work for this person/firm" which you probably do, but i found it helped me relax. Hope this helps.

Thats a great tip Graham, better than imaging them naked. Its so true that you're interviewing them to.
