In the absence of the X Files movie during the time I was away, my mother and I went to see Prince Caspian. It is an impressive movie; excellent computer effects and extravagantly shot battle scenes as well as witty dialogue. You don't necessarily have to have read the Narnia books or seen The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe to follow and enjoy this film. For anyone thinking of taking kids to see it, though, be aware that it is very long; almost three hours. It didn't feel as though we'd been in there for three hours but kids may become restless.
